Karan Johar, who was one of the few celebrities to attend Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal’s wedding at Alibaug’s Mansion House on Sunday evening, shared an emotional post for the actor. Karan Johar, who gave Varun Dhawan his big break in Bollywood Student of the year, expressed his sentiments in an Instagram entry. Long hair, his eyes I had big dreams and a swag waiting to explode on celluloid.”
A few years later, Varun was one of the assistant directors on the sets of KJo’s 2010 film my name is Khan, starring Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol. “A few years later he was my assistant on MNIK! I quietly noticed his steadfast honesty and also how hilarious he can be…sometimes even unintentionally. When he first faced the camera for me I immediately developed a protective sense of love and care for her,” he said.
KJo summed up his sentiments beautifully on seeing Varun and Natasha get married and wrote: “Almost playing the role of a parent…. trust and commitment… my boy has grown up and this beautiful part of his life The stage is ready… Congratulations my dear Natasha and Varun!
