Dobaaraa Movie Review: Anurag Kashyap and Taapsee Pannu’s Film Is a Gripping and Thrilling Watch | ‘Dobaara’ Movie Review: This Anurag Kashyap Thriller Keeps You Hooked Till The End – Thriller

direction

No doubt the story of the film is complicated, but it holds your attention until the end. Anurag Kashyap added an element of thrill from the first frame itself. Plus, the entire story barely revolves around four to five characters, so these characters keep your interest all the time. The film is built on the model of a romantic time-travel thriller, which is not as deep as other Anurag films, but layered. The good thing is that some scenes have a good hit of humor to keep the movie balanced. Speaking of the absence of the film, many plots are happening simultaneously, there are many twists, due to which it seems emotionally high.

technical side

technical side

Technically, the film is above average. Arti Bajaj’s careful editing makes the story interesting, but the length of the film could have been shortened. Film length is of great importance in thriller films. Along with that, another aspect that seems weak is the songs in the movie. There are two songs in the movie that don’t add much to the story. The background score given by Shore Police is good. The film’s production design is also eye-catching, so it’s worth mentioning.

acting

acting

What better if a good story is supported by good actors. In this film, Taapsee Pannu seems completely settled into her character. The seriousness and the distraction that her complex character needed here, the actress brought it well. There is an ambiguity in his gestures regarding the events around him. At the same time, Pavail Gulati attracts attention with his meticulous acting in the role of police inspector. Rahul Bhatt and Shashwat Chatterjee have done a commendable job in their respective characters.

Evaluation

Evaluation

Movies like Dobara are rarely shot in Bollywood. Perhaps also because such experimental films can be risky in terms of box office. But there’s no doubt that this suspense-thriller from Anurag Kashyap is a must-see. Its story and characters are quite interesting which will keep you hooked for 2 hours. 3.5 stars for Filmbeat’s ‘Dobaara’.
