KGF2 Box Office Collection: After Thalapathy Vijay with Beast, Yash with KGF Chapter 2 hit the screens on Thursday. Eagerly awaiting, Yash fans finally saw Yash reign supreme on the big screen after years. Directed by Prashanth Neel, the film sees Sanjay Dutt as Adheera and Raveena Tandon as Ramika Sen in key roles. The film ‘KGF 2’ has been received by audiences across the country. From screenings of the film that started at 6 a.m. to late-night broadcasts, there were huge crowds of spectators.

128 crores on day one

According to initial trends, director Prashanth Neel earned 128 crores on the first day of its box office release. Prior to the film’s release, KGF 2 was expected to collect 45-50 crore at the box office for its Hindi version. According to early figures, the film set a new Hindi first-day earnings record. The total revenue from the Hindi versions of the film released across the country was around 63 crores. The record for the highest opening day in Hindi cinema has so far been held by Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff’s film ‘War’ which grossed Rs 53.25 crore on its release day. The Hindi movie ‘RRR’ only earned Rs 18 crore on its first day of release. Salman Khan’s film ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ was dropped from this list after earning a spot in the top 10 best openings for ‘KGF 2’ film.

KGF2 beats RRR

The film ‘KGF 2’ earned a net Rs 128 crore at the domestic box office on its first day including all Indian languages. This gain is equal to the gain of the first day of the film “RRR” by Rajamouli. Early booking of KGF2 had crossed the 20.25 crore mark. At the same time, advance booking of Rajamouli RRR has been reduced to 11 crore in Hindi. KGF 2 broke through the RRR in this regard, and the film also did great business across the country. KGF2 touched SS Rajamouli’s “RRR” first day net worth. The movie ‘RRR’ is a movie made at around Rs 550 crores and the budget of the movie ‘KGF 2’ is only one and a half hundred crores. The release of Shahid Kapoor’s film Jersey has also been pushed back to April 22 given the demand for KGF 2 at the box office.
