KEC International receives new orders worth Rs 1,065 cr across businesses

Shares of KEC International closed at Rs 431.55, down 0.05 per cent on the BSE.

KEC International, the flagship company of the RPG Group, announced that it has received fresh orders worth Rs 1,065 crore across various businesses. The company’s Transmission and Distribution (T&D) business has bagged orders for projects in India, the Middle East, Africa and the Americas.

The company’s railway segment has received an order for the construction of railway siding in the conventional section in India, the civil business has received an order for basic works in the water pipeline section in the country.

KEC International said in a statement that the oil and gas pipeline business has received an order for laying oil and gas pipelines through a wholly owned subsidiary of the company, Spur Infrastructure Pvt Ltd. The cable business also received orders for different types of cables in India and abroad.

“Our order book continues to grow in the backdrop of secured orders across all our business verticals. Continuous ordering in T&D has significantly increased our order book especially in the international markets.

“We are particularly buoyed by the orders in Railways, which further strengthens our leadership in the conventional railway segment. Orders in civil have strengthened our presence in the growing water infra segment. With these orders, our YTD orders have increased. The intake is Rs 11,000 crore, said Vimal Kejriwal, MD and CEO, KEC International.

The Infrastructure Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) major is currently executing infrastructure projects in several countries and has a footprint in over 105 countries (including supplying EPC, towers and cables).

On Friday, December 3, shares of KEC International closed down 0.05 per cent at Rs 431.55 on the BSE.
