The number of employees earning more than one crore rupees annually in ITC has increased

According to the company’s annual report, there has been a 44 per cent increase in the number of ITC employees earning more than Rs 1 crore salary in the recently concluded financial year 2021-22.

ITC’s latest annual report said the total number of ITC employees earning a salary of more than Rs 8.5 lakh per month or Rs 1 crore per year stood at 220 as against 153 in 2020-21.

“There were 220 employees, who were employed throughout the year and in aggregate were drawing remuneration of Rs 102 lakh or more or were employed for part of the year and received remuneration of Rs 8.5 lakh or more per month during the financial year ended on March 31, 2022,” the annual report said.

While the gross remuneration drawn by ITC Chairman and Managing Director Sanjiv Puri grew by 5.35 per cent to Rs 12.59 crore in FY22, which included consolidated salary of Rs 2.64 crore, perquisites/other benefits of Rs 49.63 lakh and performance bonus of Rs 7.52 crore. Is. Ten million.

The annual report states that the salary of Mr. Puri was 224:1 in the ratio of the average remuneration to the remuneration of all the employees.

In FY21, Mr. Puri’s gross remuneration stood at Rs 11.95 crore.

ITC executive directors B Sumanth and R Tandon received gross remuneration of Rs 5.76 crore and Rs 5.60 crore, respectively, by N Anand in FY22.

The total strength of ITC employees as on March 31, 2022 was 23,829, a decrease of 8.4 per cent over the previous financial year.

This includes 21,568 male and 2,261 female employees. In addition, it had 25,513 employees in other than the permanent category.

The total strength of ITC employees as on March 31, 2021 was 26,017.

In FY22, the average remuneration of ITC employees increased by 7 per cent, while the average remuneration of employees increased by 4 per cent.

Average remuneration of Key Managerial Personnel (KMP) increased by 8 percent.

ITC’s gross revenue for the financial year ended March 31, 2022 stood at Rs 59,101 crore as against Rs 48,151.24 crore a year ago.
