With the presence of industry stalwarts like Mukesh Ambani of Reliance Group, GM Rao of GMR Group, Founder-Chairman of Scient BV Mohan Reddy, Global Investors Summit 2023 “Advantage Andhra Pradesh” began today.
The sprawling sports ground of Andhra University is hosting the two-day meet, where around 200 stalls have been put up, including over 30 stalls showcasing various benefits of investing in Andhra Pradesh in 13 thrust sectors identified by the government.
The venue has five spacious halls and each hall will host various events such as Government to Business (G2B) meetings, seminars and meetings. A government press release said that more than 8,000 dignitaries and investors from all over India and 40 other countries including China and USA are participating in the event.
Speaking at the inaugural session, Andhra Pradesh Finance Minister Bugna Rajendranath Reddy said that the dream is to re-establish Andhra Pradesh not only as the industrial hub of India but also as the industrial hub of the world.
“We have proximity to Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad. We are a very progressive state. Above all we have a stable government and dynamic leadership of CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. We have a beautiful city like Vizag. Transferred to AP EODB “The dream is to re-establish Andhra Pradesh not only as the industrial hub of India but also of the world,” said Reddy.
IT and Industries Minister G Amarnath today said the state is growing rapidly in all sectors under Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy’s governance and an inclusive development model.
He further said that the Andhra Pradesh government provides stability and confidence to business and presents business opportunities.
