The domestic stock market is likely to open on a cautious note with early signs of SGX Nifty. Trends on SGX Nifty indicate a flat start for the domestic markets. Nifty Futures was trading at 17,531 with a gain of one point at 7:30 am on the Singapore Stock Exchange.
On Friday, the BSE Sensex closed down 360.78 points at 58,765.58 and Nifty was down 86.20 points at 17,532.

NTPC is reportedly planning to list three of its subsidiaries to meet the government’s target of asset monetization of Rs 15,000 crore. The three companies are NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam Limited (NVVN), North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Limited (NEEPCO) and NTPC-Renewable Energy Limited (NREL).
