Petrol, Diesel Price Today: Petrol and diesel prices were hiked on Thursday, October 14, after two consecutive days of stagnation. According to the Indian Oil Corporation, the rates of petrol and diesel in the national capital increased by 35 paise to Rs 104.79 and Rs 93.52 per liter respectively. Earlier, the rate was last revised on Monday.
Petrol price in Mumbai increased by 34 paise to Rs 110.75 per liter, while diesel price increased by 37 paise to Rs 101.40 per litre. Of the four metro cities, Mumbai has the highest fuel rates, according to state-run oil refiners. Rates vary from state to state due to Value Added Tax or VAT.
