The NFT market has exploded with the rise of blockchain technology, and many are jumping into the rapidly growing industry to capitalize on its popularity. Bollywood is also warming to the idea. After Amitabh Bachchan and Sunny Leone, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has announced that he will launch his own non-fungible token (NFT). In a Twitter post on Wednesday, Salman Khan said that he is coming soon with stable NFTs and asked his followers to “stay in” for more updates.
NFT is a cryptographically secure token that exists on a blockchain, the same technology on which the cryptocurrency industry is based. Essentially blockchain-certified copies of digital art, NFTs represent ownership of something unique.
These collectibles are sold for massive price tags during online auctions. Tokens are quite popular in the art world but they go much further than that. The collectible trading card and gaming industry are two other big beneficiaries of these tokens.
Announcing the launch of his NFTs, Salman also shared some of his pictures with the message “NFTs are coming soon”.
“I am coming, take NFTs. Salman Khan coming to Bollycoin Static NFTs. Stay tuned guys!” He has written.

Bollycoin describes itself as a “decentralized community-owned marketplace for Bollywood NFT assets”. It says it will auction digital collectibles from the film industry on its platform and allow Bollywood enthusiasts around the world to own NFTs of their favorite movies and celebrities.
Recently, Amitabh Bachchan launched his NFT artworks based on his life. NFT also included his rendition of Madhushala, a collection of poems by his father Harivansh Rai Bachchan. Megastar has decided to launch its NFT collection on the Beyondlife.Club platform. Similarly, Sunny Leone has already launched her NFT collection.
