Reliance Jio Infocomm is building India’s largest international submarine cable system

Domestic stock markets are expected to open stronger, with the momentum seen in the previous session, due to positive Asian signals and declining Covid cases across the country. Trends on the SGX Nifty indicate an inter-opening for the index in India with a gain of 158 points. At 7:30 am on the Singapore Stock Exchange, the Nifty futures was trading at 15,104, up 158 points or 1.45 per cent.

On Monday, the BSE Sensex rose 848.18 points to 49,580.73 and the Nifty climbed 245.40 points to close at 14,923.20.

Bharti Airtel reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 759 crore for the period ended March 31, 2021, for which it attributed strong customer growth and a major boom in the domestic business segment. The company had a loss of Rs 5,237 crore during the same period of FY15.

Reliance Industries

Reliance Jio Infocomm is building India’s largest international submarine cable system. Reliance Jio will deploy two next generation cables to support the growing demand for data in India.

Tata motors

Tata Motors will announce its Q4 number during the day.

HCL Technologies

HCL Technologies has announced plans to expand investment in the UK by hiring 1,000 technology professionals to support its customers in the UK and around the world.

Union Bank of India

Union Bank has approved raising Rs 1,750 crore through qualified institutional placement at a minimum price of Rs 35.60 per share.
