Chennai Super Kings batsman Ruturaj Gaikwad, who tested positive for COVID-19 last month, remains in isolation and for the team’s Indian Premier League (IPL) against Mumbai Indians on September 19 in Abu Dhabi Not likely to be available. Thirteen members of the CSK team tested positive for the virus last month and two of them were players – Gaikwad and Deepak Chahar. ChaharAlong with 11 others, has resumed training after approving its mandatory two tests.

Gaikwad also conducted two tests on Sunday and Monday, the results of which are not known. After the COVID-19 test is approved after a 14-day quarantine, a player has to undergo a heart and lung function test to ensure that he / she is fit on the train.
