Step-by-step Dal Moth Namkeen Recipe –
(Serving – 2)
1 cup Masoor Dal
1 tbsp peanuts
1 tbsp cashew
Half onion or 1 small onion, finely chopped
1 cup save
salt to taste
Red chili powder to taste
A pinch of dry mango powder (mango powder)
A pinch of black salt
Half a teaspoon of Chaat Masala
1 teaspoon lemon juice (or according to your taste)
Coriander leaves for garnishing
Step 1 – Soak Rajma Dal for about 8 hours or overnight in water with some salt.
Step 2 – Sieve the lentils and place them on a clean kitchen towel and allow it to dry.
Step 3 – Fry the lentils in hot oil till it changes color and becomes crispy. Spread the fried lentils on absorbent paper which will absorb the excess oil.
Step 4 – In the same pan, fry cashews and peanuts until they become brown and crisp.
Step 4 – In a large bowl, mix the fried lentils with chopped onions, peanuts and cashews. Salt, red chilli powder, black salt, mango powder and chaat masala. Mix well
Step 5- Add granules with sev, lemon juice and coriander leaves and serve.
