In 2012, the FBI announced a reward of $ 15,000 to informers responsible for the kidnapping and murder of Indian national Pareshkumar Patel in the US.

Pareshkumar Patel was kidnapped on September 16, 2012 from a Raceway gas station operating in Chesterfield, Virginia, and four days later his body with a gunpoint was found at the Uncaro Boat Landing in Richmond, Richmond, City.

According to the FBI, on September 16, a witness from the Chesterfield County Police Department noticed that Pareshkumar Patel arrived at his store at around 6am, ejected his vehicle and was immediately approached by two individuals.

These two men, dressed in hoodies, put Pareshkumar Patel in a van. His body was found several days later.
