Ginger-garlic step by step Vegetable Method –
(Servings – 3-4)
Half cup ginger, chopped
Half a cup of garlic, peeled and almost chopped
1 cup milk
salt to taste
Red chili powder to taste
1-2 green chillies, chopped
Half teaspoon cumin seeds
Half a teaspoon turmeric powder
Coriander leaves for garnishing
Ghee (clarified butter for cooking)
Step 1 – Blend ginger and garlic to make a paste. You can add some water to mix them smoothly.
Step 2 – Heat your desired quantity of ghee in a pan. Add cumin seeds until they change color.
Step 3 – Add ginger-garlic paste and green chilli and fry the paste till it turns brown.
Step 4 – Add turmeric powder, salt and red chili powder and mix well with the paste. Step for one minute.
Step 5 – Add milk slowly while stirring continuously. Let the milk boil. Turn the heat to a low level, cover the pan with a lid and let it boil for 5 minutes. You can add some more milk or water to get the desired consistency.
Step 6 – Once cooked, garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
