This delicious dish is made using buttermilk,/curd, coconut oil, grated coconut, and simple South Indian spices that add authentic flavor to this curry.

How to make Moru Curry | Moru Curry Recipe

First of all, add grated coconut, garlic, onion, cumin and green chilies and grind them finely. Take a pan and put a piece of cut gourd or cucumber in a little water. After the bottle gourd is cooked properly, add grated coconut paste and curd to the mixture. Keep it to boil on low flame. Keep in mind that curd should not boil for more than a minute or two.

Heat coconut oil in a pan and add mustard seeds and fenugreek seeds. As soon as they crackle, add red chillies and curry leaves. Lastly add turmeric powder and salt. Fry till golden brown. For a spicy taste, add red chili powder. Pour it over the prepared curry, and enjoy!
