Here’s the full recipe for Baked Tomato Soup by food blogger Shiko Cook:


  • 450-500 grams tomatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 1 whole garlic
  • 1 Boursin cheese (garlic and herbs)
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tsp ajwain
  • salt and pepper to taste


  1. Preheat oven to 200C. Drizzle 2 tbsp of olive oil over the baking dish.
  2. Add tomatoes, quartered onions, garlic (sliced ​​on top), paprika, oregano, salt and pepper, and remaining olive oil, then mix well.
  3. Place the Boursin cheese in the center and bake for 30-35 minutes until the vegetables are soft and lightly browned.
  4. Squeeze the garlic and put all the vegetables in a blender or food processor along with the Boursin cheese to puree the soup. Serve with croutons and basil.
