This time, she explained why people put mayonnaise on the outside of grilled paneer, but Padma Lakshmi is different. She does not follow the same procedure. In the video, she also revealed what she uses instead of mayonnaise.

In the clip, she said, “I know some people like to put mayonnaise on the outside of their grilled cheese,” and, yes, she says that honestly, it gives you really crisp grilled cheese. But at the same time, Padma Lakshmi noted, “Mayonnaise smells like poached eggs, which I don’t want my grilled cheese to smell like. So, I still prefer butter.”

BLT is basically a type of meat sandwich which consists of bacon, lettuce and tomato. According to him summer is the best time to savor BLT sandwiches. She also wrote, “Sizzling, hot American bacon with caramelized sugar that seeps through the meat, making it crunchy and salty, combined with the sulfates of mayonnaise and salt and cream.” About the lettuce, she said it should be crisp, a thick-cut piece of beefsteak tomato nice and cold.
