Dipinder uses the following ingredients to make the pickle:
1 cup carrots
1 cup cauliflower
1 cup turnips
1/2-3/4 mustard oil
1-1/2 cups white vinegar
2-3 tsp chili powder
2 tsp turmeric powder
1/3-1/2 cup jaggery powder
salt to taste
Now, it’s time to check out the process:
firstly, she has chopped all the vegetables and put them in the microwave for about 2-3 minutes. In the next step, pat them dry to remove all excess moisture. “All the ingredients have to be mixed together to make this pickle”, said Deepinder. He threw the chopped cauliflower, carrot and turnip in a bowl and added all the spices. Then, she mixed the spices well enough to coat each piece of the vegetable. Time has come to add oil and vinegar to the bowl and mix well. She suggests that at this stage, taste it to adjust the sugar/salt ratio.
Finally, Deepinder puts the pickle in washed, dry jars and it is good.

Even as a MasterChef contestant, Deepinder made interesting foods and made us hungry. While on the show, she once created a statement combo – butter chicken and Lachha Paratha. She served it with spicy onion and mint chutney.
