Google AI developed hybrid recipes.
Throughout the year 2020 people trying out new, unique dishes at home became bored. This led to a widespread tendency to make weird food combinations and dishes that you probably wouldn’t make or eat in your right mind. Anyway, these recipes, most of which went viral on the internet, did a good job of entertaining us, so we didn’t complain at all. After humans, machines have now jumped on band-instruments to continue trending well in 2021!
Google put one of its artificial intelligence (AI) tools to good use making two weird hybrid bakery recipes. One of the kaki – a fusion of cake and cookie, and one of brekki – an amalgamation of bread and cookie.
We used to hear that baking is not just art, it is also science. Now, we saw it.

The AI tool that performs this miracle is the AutoML Tables tool. It is a codeless model generation system that takes tables of spreadsheet data and processes them into machine learning algorithms. Google is trying to update it to be more user-friendly, and they seem to have succeeded in the culinary field, at least.
It all started with Google researcher, Sarah Robinson, wanting to design a system that would look at a recipe and explain what food it would make. He eventually prepared it to brainstorm recipes to make these two hybrid dishes.
“It’s delicious. And it tastes weirdly like what I would think if I called a machine to make a cake cookie hybrid,” she wrote in her Twitter post.
