Veteran actress Neena Gupta is always full of surprises. Sometimes she surprises us by singing a few lines to the tune of the piano. Other days, she will stun us with her rugged fashion. But this time the matter is different. Neena Gupta indulges in some good food. Can you guess what’s cooking? It has a golden, “flour cheela” on the cooking pan. Cheela or Cheela is a popular Indian dosa-like crepe. Its savory flavor makes it a delicious breakfast or brunch snack. While the most popular type of chilla is besan chilla, Atta chilla is also a good option. It is not only delicious but also ultra-healthy. Here’s a look at what the actress is cooking:

If you have never eaten Atta Chila, then it is time to experiment with this Indian breakfast recipe. Check out this recipe for Instant Achari Atta Cheela. Mix chopped vegetables and pickles with whole wheat flour to make a sticky batter for cheela. Add herbs, spices and salt. Knead well. Fry the batter by pouring it on an oiled pan.
