Hunger is a feeling that cannot be ignored and can happen to the best of us at times. The phenomenon of being ‘hangry’ means when we are so hungry that we become overwhelmed with emotion and can turn the lack of food into anger. Recently, a Reddit user u/Icy-Reserve6995 took to the platform to share a shocking incident in the same context. Though he was not a photographer, his friend requested him to click their wedding pictures for the least fee. However, when he was denied food, he decided to take matters into his own hands and delete all photographs. Have a look:

The post has received 20.8k upvotes and 2.6k comments since it was shared. In the story, the man explained that he was not actually a photographer and only took pictures of his dogs. On a special request from a friend, he agreed to shoot for his wedding despite not being a professional. “They were on a great budget and I agreed to shoot it for $250, which is nothing for a 10-hour program,” he explained.

As the day progressed, the photographer kept clicking all the events taking place in the wedding. Then he realized that he had not been spared any guest table space. His friend said that he couldn’t stop work to eat as he was a photographer and he had to keep clicking pictures throughout the event. They did not get even a 20-minute break for food and drink and were asked to leave without pay if the conditions were not acceptable.

The photographer got angry and deleted all the pictures in front of the groom and got away from this gruesome incident. “I deleted all the photos I took in front of them saying I’m no longer their photographer. If I was paid $250, honestly at that point I’d be paying $250 just for a glass of cold water. Pays to sit somewhere else for 5 minutes,” he concluded.

Reddit users reacted to this shocking behavior of the ‘hangry’ photographer. Many praised him for making the right decisions, as food and water were basic for any professional photographer. Many recommended that she reconsider her friendship with the groom.
