According to health experts, nuts can be a good option to include in your thyroid diet. It is an excellent source of selenium which is known to contribute to the antioxidant defense in the thyroid.

A rich source of protein, pulses and legumes helps in transporting thyroid hormones to all your tissues and thus helps your thyroid to function effectively. In addition, several studies have shown that an increase in protein intake leads to an increase in the rate of metabolism, and further management of the thyroid.
