Ever since the pandemic has locked us in our homes, we have missed visiting new restaurants and cafes or trying new cuisines. Even after the lockdown is lifted, most of us are either afraid to eat from outside or have stopped due to health reasons. But if you miss out on that heavy Indian meal with Butter Naan, Tandoori Roti, Dal Makhani, Shahi Paneer or Butter Chicken, why not try a nice feast at your home? To try something new, we bring you this easy recipe of Tandoori Garlic Roti! This soft inside and crunchy outside will be the tandoori roti just like it is in your restaurant. And it will go well with any tadka dal and sabzi.

To make Tandoori Garlic Roti, you will need one cup of wheat flour, two tablespoons of oil, 5-6 chopped garlic cloves, three chopped green chilies, one tablespoon ginger and butter and salt as per taste.

First you have to make the dough. For this, add wheat flour, salt, oil, add water in a bowl and knead the dough. After kneading soft dough, keep it aside for half an hour. Then put butter in a small bowl and heat it on low flame. Add ginger, chilli and chopped garlic to it. Mix it well, so that all the flavors mix together.

Take a portion of your dough, roll it out, pour the butter mixture into your bread and cover the entire base. Close the roti and roll it again. Then bake tandoori garlic roti on a hot tava and enjoy with any dal and sabzi!
