Naresh Tikait, the national president of the Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU), has warned people against inviting BJP leaders to weddings and celebrations.
Addressing a Mahapanchayat On 17 February in Muzaffarnagar, UP, Mr. Tikait had said that those who invite BJP leaders should be ready to feed 100 BKU workers the next day.
“If you like, we can also pass it as an order. Consider this order or advice. But nobody should send them (BJP leaders) invitations (for works). We are about to And the next day tell about the person (who sends). The invitation will have to send food for 100 people, “he said.
Speaking to the media on Friday, Naresh Tikait also said that the order which has been given Mahapanchayat May be considered as an exclusion.
“If they (BJP leaders) are mistreated, they will accuse the Bharatiya Kisan Union and us. So I said they should be happy in their homes. If you want, you can consider it a boycott. The farm. We will agitate against the laws. Go ahead. Our protest against the central government will continue.
The central government had offered to “hold” agricultural laws for 12-18 months, a proposal by farmers unions protesting against the laws was rejected. Several rounds of talks have been held with the farmers demanding the repeal of the three new laws, against which farmers have been protesting on the borders of Delhi for almost three months.
