Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari will attend an event in Nagpur on January 15, where the Vidarbha office of the Ram Mandir Trust will begin its campaign to collect funds for the upcoming temple in Ayodhya, organizers said on Wednesday.
The program is organized by Vidarbha office of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirthakshetra Trust established by the Center for the construction and management of Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
In a ceremony, Mr. Koshiyari will participate in the inauguration of the “Vidarbha Province Dan” campaign.
“The fund-raising campaign will be launched in the presence of Swami Awadheshanand Giri Maharaj, Governor and President of the Hindu Dharma Acharya Sabha,” said Niranjan Risaldar, the head of the Nidhi Sampoorn Abhiyan (Nagpur).
On 15 January, the trust is starting a month-long public contact and contribution campaign across the country for the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya.
