Yuzvendra Chahal made a pearl of wisdom for his Royal Challengers Bangalore teammate AB de Villiers ahead of an intra-squad practice match between Team Chahal. Team Virat Kohli in Dubai. Chahal was named captain of the team, De Villiers left as an opener and the leg-spinner, who scored six runs in 14 matches last season, gave De Villiers the elbow to “run straight” and “look” until the end. Good humor aside, RCB had an intense practice match at the two camps that featured RCB key players, including de Villiers. Kohli, Umesh Yadav, Dale Steyn, Parthiv Patel and Washington Sundar appeared in action.
RCB are yet to win the IPL title despite reaching the finals on three occasions – 2009, 2011 and 2016.
Captain Kohli asked for RCB team Ipl 2020 “Most Balanced” since 2016 – when RCB last IPL final.
They will play their first match of the season against Sunrisers Hyderabad in Dubai on 21 September.
The IPL has been transferred from India to UAE due to the COVID-19 epidemic at home.
The tournament will begin on 19 September when defending champions Mumbai Indians take on Chennai Super Kings.
