Jijamata Technical Secondary and Upper Secondary School in Bhenda in Nevasa taluka organized a caste validity certificate distribution camp for students in grades 11 and 12. In this camp, after accepting proposals from 116 students, 109 students received a caste validity certificate on site. Chairman of the District Caste Certificate Verification Committee and Additional Collector (Selection Range) Vikas Pansare chaired the camp. Member and Deputy Commissioner Amina Shaikh, Member Secretary and Research Officer Bhagwat Khare, College Principal Bharat Wable were present. 289 students participated in this camp.
A Caste Validity Certificate distribution camp was held for students in grades 11 and 12 at Padmashri Vikhe-Patil College in Loni in Rahata Taluka and Jijamata Technical and Higher Secondary School in Bhenda in Nevasa Taluka. In this camp, 97 student proposals were accepted in Loni and 92 students were accepted and in Bhenda, 109 students received caste validity certificates on the spot after 116 student proposals were accepted.
Pansare said that “in order to implement the announcement made by Chief Minister Shinde and the ‘Mandangad model’, the district committee has decided to visit the college and distribute the validity certificate to the students.” From now on, caste validity certificates will be distributed to students in the colleges of this district.
Chief Minister Eknath Shinde had appreciated the work done by the Ahmednagar District Caste Certificate Verification Committee regarding the matter settled in a short time. Ahmednagar district has done the job of distributing the highest number of caste validity certificates in the state during the fortnight of service. From now on, this committee should do the same excellent work. The Chief Minister had expressed the hope that in the coming times, the caste validity certificate will be issued on the passport lines. The Ahmednagar District Caste Certificate Verification Committee is the first in the state to meet the expectations of the Chief Minister.
