Some Pathari fishermen in Pavani taluka had gone fishing in the Isam Wainganga river. Due to continuous heavy rains, the water level in the riverbed has risen. For this reason, 06 Isams from Sadar got stuck on an island in the middle of the river in Pathri.

Rescue operation launched by SDRF team

Some Pathari fishermen in Pavani taluka had gone fishing in the Isam Wainganga river. Due to continuous heavy rains, the water level in the riverbed has risen. For this reason, 06 Isams from Sadar got stuck on an island in the middle of the river in Pathri. Bhandara district search and rescue team tries to evacuate the said Isma. However, as it is dark and the water in the river has risen, the rescue work proceeds at a slow pace. An SDRF team was deployed to safely evacuate said Isma.

Rescue of tourists stranded at Garbardi Dam in Jalgaon

Also in Jalgaon, 9 tourists who went to the Garbardi dam for tourism got stuck in the river water.
