Anil Babar rebelled and joined the Shinde group. He was elected MP for the fourth time from Shiv Sena. Last night, the Chief Minister met Shobha Babar at Dinanath Mangeshkar Hospital in Pune and inquired about his health condition.
Coming from a family of farmers, Babar entered politics at the age of 19. He was elected Sarpanch of Gardi village in Khanapur taluka.

Shobhatai played the lion’s share of Anil Babar’s social and political career. He also did the work of the women’s organization very well. She had achieved a perfect balance between a political career and her husband’s life. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde expressed his moving tributes.

Who is Anil Babar?
Anil Babar was elected to Sangli Zilla Parishad in 1972. He served as the Chairman of Khanapur Panchayat Samiti from 1982 to 1990. He was first elected to the Legislative Assembly in 1990. After that he became a four-member MP occasions in 1999, 2014, 2019.
Anil Babar served as Chairman of Yashwant Cooperative Sugar Factory (Khanapur) in 1991, while in 2001 he became Director of Sangli District Central Cooperative Bank.

Meanwhile, after visiting Dinanath Mangeshkar Hospital, the Chief Minister also met with Senior Social Worker Dr. Prakash Baba Amte, Cancer Fighter, BJP MP from Pune Girish Bapat and spoke inquired about his state of health.
