Mumbai: Rebel Shiv Sena MP Suhas Kande alleged that the then state government refused to provide security for Eknath Shinde even after receiving threats from the Naxalites. Minister of State for Home Affairs Shambhuraj Desai had ordered to provide security for Eknath Shinde. However, Uddhav Thackeray (Uddhav Thackeray) cannot call and give such an order. Suhas Kande had claimed that instructions had been given by Uddhav Thackeray that Eknath Shinde should not be given any security. Former Interior Minister Dilip Walse Patil responded to this allegation.

Dilip Valse Patil denied all allegations made by the Shinde group MPs and clarified that there was no truth in them. Eknath Shinde was given adequate security. Her son had written a letter asking for Z Plus security. But security was never demanded of Eknath Shinde himself. Shinde’s security was tightened after receiving a threatening letter. Dilip Valse-Patil said there was no instruction from the then chief minister not to provide security for Eknath Shinde.

Following the letter from MP Shrikant Shinde, instructions have been issued to Thane Police, Police Department, regarding the care of Eknath Shinde. So this discussion is a pointless discussion. Such letters happen in public life. Dilip Valse-Patil also explained that the police department is analyzing and deciding what action to take against him.

What exactly happened?

During the Mahavikas Aghadi government, Eknath Shinde held the responsibility of Custodian Minister of Gadchiroli District. At this time, Shinde was threatened with death by the Naxalites. Such a report was given by intelligence agencies. Suhas Kande claimed that the Home Office decided to provide Z Plus security to Shinde. However, Suhas Kande also claimed that Uddhav Thackeray called then Home Minister Shambhuraj Desai and banned Z Plus security.

Mahavikas Aghadi leaders had dismissed Suhas Kande’s allegation. The then Minister of State for Home Affairs Shambhuraj Desai supported Suhas Kande’s statement. He had said that the allegation made by Suhas Kande was correct and he had received such a call from Uddhav Thackeray. However, Congress leader and former Minister of State for the Interior Satej Patil refuted this claim. Neither the Chief Minister nor the Minister of the Interior intervenes in security matters. This committee reports to the Secretary General. The report is reviewed and then a decision is made. Therefore, Satej Patil had said that it is not true that such a suggestion came from Uddhav Thackeray.
