Three tremors hit Dindori taluk on Tuesday evening. The first tremor registered a maximum of 3.4 on the Richter scale. Although there was no loss of life or money from these tremors, people were very scared. Tehsildar Pankaj Pawar informed that the center of Dalwat region of Kalwan taluka seems to have shifted towards Dindori. Earthquakes were felt for the first time in Dindori town and nearby villages on Tuesday (16). Earthquakes were felt in Dhakambe, Indore, Jambutke, Madki Jamb, Manori, Hatnore, Nilvandi, Umrale (Bu), Talegaon, Vanarwadi, Pade villages about 16-20 km from Nashik town. There was also a loud noise. This caused panic among the villagers. He contacted Gram Sevak, Talathi, Tehsildar and informed them about these shocks.

In the past, similar shocks also occurred in Dalwat in Kalwan taluka and Gonde in Peth taluka. But for the first time, such shocks were felt in Dindori. There is a need for research on shifting the epicenter.
