Saratar: Kilimanjaro is the peak of Tanzania (Africa) and its height is 19,341 feet above sea level. Extremely harsh environment, constantly changing, temperature minus 15 to 20 degrees Celsius and at such height, this peak was climbed by a young climber from Marathmola, Sameer Malusare. The courage of Sameer Malusare of Koregaon in Satara is now appreciated everywhere. Sameer achieved this success by overcoming many obstacles and difficulties.

Thanks to this expedition, he climbed the first summit of seven continents thanks to 360 Explorer. Next, he intends to climb the remaining six highest peaks in the rest of the continent. In this campaign, he carried the idol of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj to the top and hoisted the saffron flag along with the Indian tricolor on the occasion of Shiv Jayanti.

On February 14, at 2 p.m., Sameer launched the campaign with five colleagues. He began his climb to the top after a three-day lead. Two of the five turned back after the weather began to suffer. However, the difficult nine-hour climb of the final stage began at midnight on the 19th. And reaching the summit of Kilimanjaro in the morning, Sameer with his two colleagues, greeted Chhatrapati Shivaji and finished the expedition. The expedition was organized under the leadership of Everest veteran Anand Bansode.

After mastering running, cycling, trekking and mountaineering, Sameer Malusare completed a month-long basic mountaineering training at the Himalaya Mountaineering Institute in Darjeeling in September 2019. After that, in October 2019, he scaled the 5,000 meter peak of Mount Renock in the Himalayas and hoisted the tricolor there. In April 2022, he completed a month-long course at the National Institute of Arunachal Pradesh. Sameer Malusare, who has his sights set on climbing Mount Everest, has been selected for international mountaineering by the organization 360 Explorer. Thus, Sameer Malusare began on February 14, 2023 to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa, and on February 19, 2023, he dedicated the expedition to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, proudly displaying the tricolor and saffron flag of Africa. ‘India.

Studied in the field of Civil Engineering, Sameer Malusare completed his secondary school education from Saraswati Vidyalaya, Koregaon and his college education from Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil Engineering and Yashoda Education Institute, Satara. Mountaineer Sameer Malusare said, “I will continue to cultivate my passion for mountaineering and after that my goal is to climb the seven highest peaks in the seven continents of the world.”
