Oculus Quest 2 Debuts with High Resolution Performance, Fast Performance


Facebook has unveiled Oculus Quest 2 as its next-generation standalone virtual reality (VR) headset at the Connect Virtual Conference. The new offering, which is the successor to the Oculus Quest, is said to offer the “highest resolution display” in the lineup with less weight than its predecessor. The Oculus Quest 2 will be the first headset to use a Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2 SoC. This is a major upgrade over the Oculus Quest, which had Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835. Powered by Quest 2 Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2 SoC, paired with 6GB of RAM. There are also new touch controllers with optimization for battery efficiency. Oculus has additionally provided a built-in interdental distance (IPD) adjustment mechanism, allowing users to adjust the position of the lens to their liking. In addition, the headset weighs 503 grams, which is lighter than the Quest of 571 grams.

With the new headset, Facebook’s Oculus PC is discontinuing the VR headset option Crack s From 2021 and will eventually be replaced with Quest 2.
