Amid the ongoing camping in Bihar for the upcoming state assembly elections, Bihar BJP election in-charge Devendra Fadnavis said on Sunday that people trusting Prime Minister Narendra Modi would benefit not only his party but also his allies.
“A lot of enthusiasm is seen among the people, wherever we go in Bihar and take the name of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The country and its people have put their trust in PM Modi. This trust has not only us but also our allies Will benefit, ”Mr. Fadnavis, who is the former Chief Minister of Maharashtra, told reporters.
The BJP and JDU had agreed to contest 121-122 seats in the 243-member assembly respectively. According to the understanding, JDU, which has a share of 122 seats, has given seats from its quota to Jitin Ram Manjhi’s Hindustani Awam Morcha.
The BJP formally inducted the Vikascell Insan Party (VIP) into the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) earlier this week and handed the party 11 seats in the form of seat distribution among allies for the Bihar elections.
The Bihar assembly elections will be held on three stages – 28 October, 3 November, and 7 and the counting of votes will take place on 10 November.
