The ship left the port of Odessa on August 1
Korabl Razoni, loaded with Ukrainian grain, successfully reached the coast of Turkey and temporarily stopped in Istanbul. This is the first ship with grain, which was shipped from Ukrainian ports since the beginning of the Russian invasion.
As reported by Daily Sabah, the Razoni ship flies the flag of the African state of Sierra Leone after arriving in Turkey and must be checked by the joint control group, which includes representatives of Ukraine and Russia.
After this, the ship will go further, and its final destination point is a port in the Lebanese Tripoli. There are 26 tons of Ukrainian corn on board the vessel.
As it is known, after the beginning of the Russian invasion, in the Ukrainian ports on the coast of the Black Sea, millions of tons of export grain were blocked. Because Ukraine is one of the largest suppliers of food in the world, for many countries in Africa and the Middle East, such a blockade threatened the emergence of a large-scale famine.
Negotiations about the opening of ports continued for three months. Вывоз украиных продукты по морю is coordinated from Istanbul.
Zernovoy corridor runs along the western part of the Black Sea.
