After suffering back-to-back defeats in the first two matches, Australia heaved a sigh of relief last week, beating India by nine wickets in the third Test. After bowling India out for just 163 runs, the visitors were set a target of 76 runs, which they achieved for the loss of one wicket in a few hours of the third day. A 78-run partnership between Travis Head (49*) and Marnus Labuschagne (28*) took Australia to a big win. The fans at the Holkar Stadium in Indore couldn’t hide their excitement as the Steve Smith-led side put on a stellar performance on the field.
In a viral video, an Australian fan celebrated his team’s win in a very quirky way as he copied Telugu actor Allu Arjun’s famous pose from the 2021 hit film Pushpa. He then uttered the film’s famous dialogue in Hindi, “Jhukega nahi saala (I will not bow down).”

Talking about the match, Head (49 not out) and Labuschagne (28 not out) endured some worrying moments before taking Australia home in 18.5 overs as the match was over in less than two days.
Wins in India are rare for visiting teams and it was no different for Australia, who registered their first win on Indian soil in six years.
For India, it was only their third defeat in the last 10 years and they will need to rework their plans ahead of the final Test starting March 9 in Ahmedabad.
