Australia vs England, Ashes 1st Test Day 2 Live:Marnus Labuschagne and David Warner ensured that Australia lost just one wicket in the morning session on the second day of the ongoing first Ashes Test against England at the Gabba, Brisbane, here on Thursday. Australia were 113/1 at the time of lunch break and the hosts are still trailing by 34 runs. Warner (48 *) and Labuschagne (53 *) are unbeaten at the crease. England bowled a total of 31 overs in the morning session. After bowling out England for 147, Australia had a poor start as opener Marcus Harris (3) failed to make a mark with the bat and was sent back to the pavilion by Ollie Robinson in the sixth over. Labuschagne then joined Warner in the middle to tie the two scoreboards side by side, and in the end, ensured that the hosts entered the second session of the day with nine wickets. Warner was also relieved in the first over bowled by Ben Stokes as he was clean bowled on a no-ball and the left-hander survived. (live scorecard)
