The Indian women’s cricket team will look to make a first innings total after resuming batting on the third day of the one-off pink-ball Test against Australia at the Metricon Stadium in Queensland on Saturday. India had ended Day 2 on 276/5 when Smriti Mandhana, the opener in a day, scored her maiden century. Mandhana displayed exceptional batting class to pace her innings towards perfection. Ashley Gardner dismissed him after scoring a brilliant 127 off 216 balls. The Australian bowlers suffered due to poor performance on the first two days.
