Commonwealth Games 2022, Day 8: India Full Schedule

On the seventh day of the ongoing Commonwealth Games, Murali Sreeshankar won the silver medal in the men’s long jump final, while para power-lifter Sudhir won the gold with a Games record 134.5 points. India’s boxers Amit Panghal, Jasmine Lamboria and Sagar Ahlawat grabbed headlines as they entered the semi-finals, assuring India of a medal. The men’s hockey team defeated Wales to enter the final four stage. Sprinter Hima Das also made it to the semi-finals of the women’s 200m race. Shuttlers PV Sindhu and Kidambi Srikanth also reached the pre-quarterfinals in the ongoing mega event.

The team will hope to continue the good performance on the eighth day as well. As the stars are in action and an exciting day ahead.
