Holi 2022: Cricket fraternity congratulates

On the occasion of Holi, several current and former cricketers took to social media to wish fans on Friday. Legendary India batsman Sachin Tendulkar, former India captain Virat Kohli led the way in wishes on social media. Tendulkar shared a picture of himself playing Holi on Twitter and asked fans to share their pictures on the micro-blogging platform. Tendulkar captioned his post, “Adding some more color to your feed. Share your Holi tweeple.”

Meanwhile, Kohli, who is currently gearing up for the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League (IPL), also wished fans on Ku.

India pacer Ishant Sharma tweeted, “Wishing you all a very Happy Holi. Hope you have a day filled with colors of happiness, laughter and smiles.”

India wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant wrote in the caption accompanying a photo album, “Happy Holi everyone! Play safe and have an incredible year ahead.”

Former India all-rounder Irfan Pathan tweeted, “Happy Holi guys. Stay colourful, stay happy.”

Veteran batsman Ajinkya Rahane wrote a post on Twitter, “Happy Holi everyone! May your life always be filled with colors and positivity.”

With India making a clean sweep over Sri Lanka in the two-match Test series last week, the focus is now on to the upcoming IPL season.

In the opening match of IPL 2022, defending champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will take on Kolkata Knight Riders at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Saturday, March 26.
