India scored 21 runs without loss after dismissing Australia for 263 on the first day of the second Test of the Border Gavaskar Trophy in New Delhi on Friday. Earlier, veteran pacer Mohammed Shami (4/60) accounted for four Australian batsmen. Usman Khawaja (81) and Peter Handscomb (72 not out) made important contributions for Australia.
Brief scores: Australia 1st innings: 263 in 78.4 overs (Usman Khawaja 81; Peter Handscomb 72 not out; Mohammed Shami 4/60).
