David Warner, who was dropped from the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) playing XI, was present in the stands in Dubai on Sunday, favoring his side during their Indian Premier League (IPL) game against Kolkata Knight Riders. Warner, who had registered scores of zero and two in the UAE leg of IPL 2021, was replaced by England opener Jason Roy in the XI. David Warner was not present on the field after being ruled out in the latter two matches, but the Australian came to Dubai to extend his support to SRH.

Warner’s presence at the stadium did not turn SRH’s fortunes this season as they suffered another defeat.
In the match, after winning the toss and electing to bat, SRH had a poor start and lost Wriddhiman Saha on the second ball of the match.
His opening partner Jason Roy followed suit after he was dismissed for 10 off 13 balls.
Kane Williamson tried to advance the innings but his collusion with Priyam Garg ended him midway. He scored 26 runs.
Abdul Samad scored 26 runs towards the backend of the innings to take SRH’s total to 115/8.
In reply, KKR made a cautious start but Jason Holder dismissed in-form Venkatesh Iyer for 8 in his second over.
Shubman Gill kept going and completed his fifty to set up a run chase for KKR. He added 55 runs for the third wicket with Nitish Rana before losing his wicket to Siddharth Kaul. Gill scored 57 runs.
Rana (25) too fell soon after, but a cameo from Dinesh Karthik helped KKR over the line with two balls to spare.
