IPL 2023: Lucknow Super Giants unveil their jersey for the upcoming edition

Lucknow Super Giants revealed their official jersey for the latest edition of the Indian Premier League on their social media handles on 7th March. BCCI secretary Jay Shah, LSG captain KL Rahul, LSG owner Sanjiv Goenka and team mentor Gautam Gambhir unveiled the new LSG jersey. The dominant color of the jersey is navy blue, with a red stripe down each side. This jersey is quite a contrast to its predecessor. LSG will hope that this drastic change will bring them the much needed X factor this season.

A fashion show was held just before the unveiling ceremony, before the LSG jersey became the center of attraction. On top of this, some of the LSG players took part in the show, showcasing their sense of fashion and glamour. Ravi Bishnoi, Jaydev Undkat, Deepak Hooda, Avesh Khan and finally LSG captain KL Rahul walked the ramp in the same colors as the jersey.

After the unveiling ceremony, Gautam Gambhir, KL Rahul and Sanjiv Goenka talk about what to expect from LSG this season. Team mentor Gambhir emphasized on the fact that consistency will be the key for LSG. The circumstances will be different from last season. Thus, compatibility will play a vital role in giving the result in their favour.

The coaching and management team of LSG will play a vital role in achieving this. Former Zimbabwe captain Andy Flower will be the head coach of LSG for this season and Andy Bichel will act as the bowling coach. Other coaches include Vijay Dahiya as assistant coach, Richard Halsall as fielding coach and finally Warren Andrews as strength and conditioning coach.
