IPL 2023 Schedule: Complete Schedule of Matches, Venues and Time Table

The Indian Premier League (IPL) is just around the corner and defending champions Gujarat Titans will take on four-time winners Chennai Super Kings on March 31 in the opening match of this year’s competition. Hardik Pandya-led GT won the title last year. Defeat Rajasthan Royals in the final and they would like to continue their great run in the tournament. There will be a total of 12 venues where the tournament will be played this year, including home venues at Dharamsala and Guwahati.

After holding the IPL in Mumbai, Pune and Ahmedabad in the previous editions, the 16th season of IPL will return to home and away format where all the teams will play 7 home matches and 7 away games respectively in the league stage.

A total of 70 league stage matches will be played across 12 venues over a span of 52 days.

April 1, 2023 will be the first double-header day of the season, where Punjab Kings will square off against Kolkata Knight Riders in Mohali and Lucknow Super Giants will take on Delhi Capitals in Lucknow.

IPL 2023 will feature 18 double headers, with the day game starting at 3:30 PM IST and the evening game starting at 07:30 PM IST.

Rajasthan Royals will play their first two home matches in Guwahati and the remaining home matches in Jaipur. Punjab Kings will play their five home matches in Mohali and then their last two home matches against Delhi Capitals and Rajasthan Royals respectively in Dharamshala.

The schedule and venues of the playoffs and finals will be announced later. The final match of IPL 2023 will be played on May 28, 2023.
