Mohammad Amir’s controversial gesture in PSL has left fans in a tizzy. Watch
[ad_1]

Pakistani fast bowler Mohammad Amir has repeatedly grabbed headlines for his action in the Pakistan Super League. The left-arm fast bowler drew a lot of criticism for his on-field antics while bowling to Pakistan national team captain Babar Azam. In this incident, former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi also reached out to Amir and talked to him about his actions. However, Afridi’s words had no effect on Amir, who disappointed fans with yet another poor on-field action in a PSL match.
Amir had earlier hurled the ball at Babar in a fit of rage, which had led to a backlash from fans on social media. And now Aamir has once again troubled the fans with his controversial gesture.

Reacting to Amir’s antics, Shahid Afridi had said, “Whenever a player doesn’t perform, or does, I leave a message to call him. Similarly, I messaged Amir yesterday.” . I spoke to him respectfully, but I also scolded him. I said to Amir, ‘What do you want?’ You have gained so much respect, you have tarnished your reputation and you have come back from there. You have got a new life of sorts. What are you trying to do?”
“Yeh koi tariye hai? (Is this the way to play?) You have juniors around, you are using bad words. There are fans who are disappointed to see that. Even we Used words and sometimes, used camera to catch us. There are families, kids watching you on television. Aggression is fine, but keep it under control,” Afridi had further said.
Even Shaheen Afridi, the current fast bowler in the Pakistan team, had admitted that Amir had some kind words for Babar after their on-field brawl.
While Amir’s antics have angered several cricketing personalities, the southpaw doesn’t seem to be paying much heed to what is being said about him.
