Pakistan cricket team fast bowler Naseem Shah has been fined 10 per cent of his match fee for wearing the wrong helmet during the Pakistan Super League (PSL) match between Quetta Gladiators and Multan Sultans. Naseem, who is currently playing for Gladiators, was penalized under the PCB code of conduct after he wore the helmet of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) side Comilla Victorians – the franchise Naseem also plays for . Naseem’s stay at the crease was ended by Sultan’s pacer Ihsanullah, whose five wickets proved crucial as the Gladiators went down comprehensively.

Batting first, the Gladiators could only manage 110 runs and Ihsanullah produced another brilliant spell of bowling. In reply, Rilee Rossouw (50 off 33 balls) helped her team chase down the target with ease.

Earlier Naseem Shah was appointed as the Goodwill Ambassador of Balochistan Police. He was awarded the rank of DSP in a function held at the IG Balochistan Police office in Quetta.
