The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Qualifier A begins in Oman from February 18, with Nepal taking on the hosts in the first match. The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Qualifier A consists of hosts Oman, Bahrain, Canada, Germany, Ireland, Nepal, Philippines and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). In Qualifier A the teams are divided into two groups of four. Each team will play all the other teams in their group once, followed by position classification matches. The two teams reaching the final will advance to the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 to be held in Australia later this year.
Group A of the qualifiers consists of Canada, Nepal, Oman and the Philippines, while Group B consists of Bahrain, Germany, Ireland and the UAE.

The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Qualifier B will be held in Harare, Zimbabwe from July 11-17, 2022 and will include Hong Kong, Jersey, Netherlands, Papua New Guinea, Singapore, Uganda, United States of America (USA). With hosts Zimbabwe.
