Shooting Junior World Championship: Indian trap squad out of top 3

The Indian junior trap squad ended outside the podium at the ISSF World Championships for Shotgun on Thursday. Shapat Bhardwaj in junior men and Bhavya Tripathi in women’s section were the best among seven Indian shooters in the show.

Shapat was 15th with a two-day qualifying round score of 111, while Bhaiwa finished 14th in the junior women’s trap with a score of 103.

In the junior men’s trap, two other Indians, Arya Vansh Tyagi and Shardul Vihaan, finished 32nd and 37th with scores of 107 and 106 respectively.

In the junior women’s trap, Sabira Haris finished 19th with a score of 100, Preeti Rajak finished 22nd with a score of 98, while Aadhya Tripathi finished 32nd with a score of 76.
