India beat West Indies in a thrilling first ODI on Friday to take a 1-0 lead in the three-match series. In the match played at the Queen’s Park Oval in Trinidad, the spectators scored a total of 308 runs for 7 wickets after being invited to bat first. In reply, West Indies were at 133 for 1 at a time but India came back to stay in the game till the last ball and eventually won the nail-biter by a narrow margin of three runs.
During a post-match conversation, Shreyas Iyer and Mohammad Siraj, both of whom were part of the match, were seen having a fun session. BCCI uploaded the video of the chat on social media in which both can be seen laughing and Iyer also showed his dance moves.
All this happened when Siraj asked Iyer why he was dancing near the crowd during the game. To this Iyer replied that some spectators were asking him to drop the catch. This is the reason why he had fun dancing in front of the crowd after taking the catch.
