India and Pakistan are set to resume their old rivalry in the Super 12 stage of the T20 World Cup in Dubai on Sunday. Both the arch rivals are starting their campaign in the tournament with the much-awaited match. India had beaten England and Australia in their warm-up matches ahead of the tournament and will go up with confidence for a blockbuster clash. Pakistan, on the other hand, had defeated West Indies in their first warm-up match and lost to South Africa in the second.
According to former England captain Michael Vaughan, India are a strong contender for Sunday’s match.
Vaughan said on Twitter that India could be “too strong” for Pakistan. However, his prediction came with the caveat that Pakistan could win against any team under these conditions.
Vaughan tweeted on Sunday, “India must be very strong for Pakistan today..

History also favors the Indian cricket team led by Virat Kohli. Against Pakistan, India has never lost a World Cup, be it ODIs or T20s.
In seven matches of the World Cup, India has won seven matches against Pakistan.
India, on the other hand, have beaten Pakistan in five out of five matches in the T20 World Cup, which included a ball out.
The two sides also famously met in the final of the inaugural edition, which India won by five runs to claim the title.
